makes 9-10 cups

ingredients
- 4 cups rolled whole oats, packed
- 1 cup almonds, whole
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp chinese five spice
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 cup cacao nibs (though measure with your heart!)
- 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut, can substitute unsweetened coconut
- 2 tsp sea salt flakes
instructions
- Preheat oven to 300.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, almonds, walnuts, flax seeds, salt, spices and brown sugar. Toss well with your hands.
- In another small microwavable cup, combine the butter, coconut oil, maple syrup & microwave about 20 seconds or until melted. Pour over the dry mixture and blend well coating everything thoroughly.
- Spread on 2 parchment paper lined cookie sheets and bake in the oven for about 20 to 24 minutes or until golden brown.
